Terms of Use
SkillearnIQ Hub — Terms of Use
Effective date: 25 September 2026
1. Welcome to SkillearnIQ Hub
SkillearnIQ Hub helps learners build a study routine through subject resources, lessons, practice, progress information and, where available, tutor-led learning. These terms explain the responsibilities we share when you use https://skillearniqhub.com.
The service is operated by SkillearnIQ Hub LTD (“SkillearnIQ”, “we” or “us”). Postal correspondence: Suite 24, Adonai Plaza, Egbeda, Lagos, Nigeria. Contact us through https://skillearniqhub.com/contact or info@skillearniqhub.com.
Please read these terms with our Privacy Notice and Safeguarding Notice. A feature is available only when it is offered for your account, examination, subject and access plan. A description or example on the website does not mean that every subject, lesson or live class is available to purchase or join.
2. Accounts, age and family access
Learner accounts are for people aged 13 and above. Learners aged 13–17 need a parent or legal guardian and our guardian-confirmation process before learning access is activated. Parent, tutor and other adult account roles require an age of at least 18. Registration opens only when these eligibility requirements can be enforced.
Provide accurate account information, including your date of birth. Verify your email, read and acknowledge the current notices, and complete the setup steps for your account. Use your own account and keep your password and linking codes private. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
A parent or guardian uses a separate account. Knowing a learner’s name or email does not grant access. A linking code starts a request; it does not confirm authority. Our team reviews guardian authority for a child’s account. Adult learners may decide whether to confirm an eligible family link. Access is limited to the information permitted by the confirmed relationship and can be revoked or reviewed.
3. Learning and assessment
Use the service for your own permitted educational activities. Follow the instructions shown for each lesson, assessment, assignment or class, including time limits and submission rules.
Progress indicators describe recorded activity. Practice scores, completion percentages and study streaks are not official examination results or guarantees of admission, grades or mastery. We do not guarantee a particular academic outcome. Refer to the relevant examination body for official requirements and dates; use of examination names does not imply an endorsement or partnership.
If you find an inaccurate explanation, inaccessible resource or questionable answer, report the subject, lesson or question reference. We review reported issues and may correct or withdraw material. Published versions and recorded attempts may be retained to explain the learning history fairly.
4. Respectful and honest use
Treat other people with dignity. Do not bully, threaten, discriminate, sexually harass, impersonate others, circulate private information, request exam leaks, submit another person’s work as your own, or help someone cheat.
Do not share accounts or private class links, upload malicious files, probe other users’ accounts, bypass access controls, harvest personal data, or redistribute protected learning materials without permission. Report security concerns through our contact form without accessing or disclosing other people’s information.
Tutors must complete the required application and approval process. Creating a tutor account does not authorise teaching or access to learner records. Separate tutor or school agreements may apply to approved assignments and institutional services.
5. Plans, prices and payment
Before a paid order is available, its offer must state the total price and currency, any applicable tax or fee, duration, included access, usage limits, renewal method, and cancellation/refund conditions. Read those details before paying. Example prices and test transactions are not live offers.
Only the checkout shown within your account is an authorised payment route. Do not send money to a tutor’s personal account or give anyone your card PIN, banking password or one-time code. Where Paystack checkout is offered, payment details are handled through the payment provider; we confirm the result before granting paid access.
Renewal is manual unless a particular offer clearly explains a different arrangement and you expressly authorise it. Changes to future offers do not retrospectively change the agreed price of an existing paid period.
6. Cancellations, refunds and service problems
Use the cancellation options shown in your account or contact support with your order reference. We will explain when cancellation takes effect, what access remains and whether a refund is due under the offer and applicable consumer protections.
Report duplicate charges, failed access or a service that materially differs from what was promised. We will investigate and provide an appropriate remedy where due. Cancellation charges, if any, must be fair and disclosed. Nothing in these terms removes rights or remedies you have under applicable consumer law. No blanket “no refunds” condition overrides those rights.
7. Your work and our materials
You retain ownership of work you create. When you submit work, you give us permission to store, display to authorised recipients, review and process it as needed to provide the requested service, handle support and maintain relevant records. This does not transfer ownership or authorise unrelated public advertising.
Only upload material you are entitled to share. Do not include another person’s private records unnecessarily. Our platform, lesson materials and licensed resources remain protected by the rights of their owners. Downloads, where offered, remain subject to the stated educational-use permissions.
We will seek separate permission before using an identifiable learner’s story, photograph or submitted work for publicity. Illustrative promotional photographs are not testimonials or evidence that the people shown use the service.
8. Safety, availability and account restrictions
Our Safeguarding Notice applies to learning conversations, classes and related interactions. We may temporarily restrict content, communication or access while investigating a credible safety, security, authority or payment concern. We will explain the reason and review route unless doing so could compromise safety, an investigation or a legal obligation.
We aim to provide a reliable service and will take reasonable care. Maintenance, network conditions or provider outages can interrupt access. Tell us about a problem affecting a paid service so we can assess an appropriate remedy. These terms do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or transfer responsibility for our own obligations to you.
9. Closing an account and resolving concerns
You may request account closure through account privacy tools where available or through support. Closure, cancellation and erasure are different processes: some records may need to be retained for a documented reason explained in the Privacy Notice.
For a complaint or review of a restriction, provide the relevant reference and the outcome you seek. A reviewer who was not responsible for the disputed action should consider an appeal where practicable. You may also approach the relevant regulator or a competent court; our internal procedure does not prevent this.
Nigerian law governs these terms, subject to any mandatory rights that apply to you. No clause requires you to give up a lawful consumer or privacy remedy.
10. Changes to these terms
We will identify the version and effective date of material changes and make the revised terms available. The application may require you to read and acknowledge a new current version before continuing account access. Optional marketing and analytics remain separate choices.
